warnings in PHP 7.1/7.1 & WooCommerce templates out of date

Virture Premium 3.5.0
When upgrading to the currrent release of php, the virtue theme is throwing the following error:
Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/tpginc/dev.tpginc.net/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/cmb/init.php on line 746
And when reviewing the WooCommerce->Status lots of templates are out of date – one example
virtue_premium/woocommerce/archive-product.php version 2.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.3.0,
