Virtue Full-Width Submenu Borders

On the Demo 1 version of Virtue, the full-width submenu example shows both horizontal and vertical borders between each menu item. But when I set it up on my blog it’s only showing the vertical lines. How do I get the horizontal lines/borders to show as well?
