Thin Raleway font display issue on Chrome browser

Hi,
I’m looking over my site in windows 7 in the latest Chrome browser and noticed a Raleway font display issue. The font is very thin and almost unreadable. The themes default body font also seems to be affected.
Raleway looks great in Firefox though.
I came across this potential fix, though the CSS didn’t work for me out of the box: *Login to see link I’d also need to make sure it only affects Windows and not Macs apparently…
