Support for block templates?

Hi. I’m building a site with Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks Pro and learning as I go. Does Kadence theme support WordPress block templates? Only the option under appearance > templates which is mentioned in block template guides is missing for me. What I’m looking for is a way to create a layout using blocks and then to apply that layout automatically when creating a new post. So that there’s a starting point for a client to fill in content.
Is there a way to do this in Kadence? The only way I’ve found is to create my layout as a reusable block, add that to a new post and set it to be editable. Which isn’t great, as these blocks are supposed to be for shared content not to store and choose pre-built layouts for posts.
