Slider above header not full width

I have a Kadence slider on my home page that I’ve specified to be full width and it works beautifully…until I go into Home Slider properties and ask that it be displayed above the header. Now there is padding on both the left and right. How do I get the slider to truly be full width when it’s displayed above the header? Thanks much in advance!!
