Single Post Layout – cannot change layout for desktop and mobile

Hi there
I’m using the Kadence theme and trying to create a different Single Post Layout for desktop and mobile. For desktop I have narrow, boxed, and featured image behind – which looks great. For mobile I would like full width, featured image below. But when I try to change it for mobile it changes the desktop layout as well. Is this a problem you’ve come across before and is there any work around? Thanks
