Simple Header for the Homepage

Hello everyone,
I’ want to use a simple header just below the slider which I’m using on my homepage. The only option I have is to use the “page title” which gives me a nice header. But I don’t wanr to use it, because it should say something completely different. How can I put a similar header there?
It would be nice to have more options at the “homepage layout manager”, maybe also some widget areas and more.
