Revolution Slider custom arrows showing weird

hello,
I used CSS to customise my Revolution slider arrows and I haven’t changed anything but instead of arrows they are showing as ‘e3b1’ and ‘e3b3’
All plugins and themes and WP is up to date – using premium theme
