Removing ‘Uncategorized’ Category.

Hi,
Trying to remove the ‘uncategorized’ cat all together. I’ve tried removing it in Settings > Writing but it doesn’t work – I presume even if it did, it’d mean i’d have to have another random category showing which i don’t want. Going to the setting > writing page doesn’t let me change the category to any of my already existing categories.
Need it removed asap please because it looks stupid!
