Read More not showing in related posts carousel

The read more is fine everywhere else the post summaries show up. But when a full post is open, the summaries at the bottom ( related posts carousel) the read more text does not show up. If you hover over the area where it should be the cursor will change, you can click and follow the link.
I have changed background colors to see if it was just white text on white background….but that is not the case.
