Popover shortcode inside menu image description

Hello,
I’m using the theme settings to organize an image menu for my home page. In the description field, I’d like to use a [kad_popover] shortcode [/kad_popover]. Unfortunately, it does not work right outside the box. Shall I recode it my self, or is there a trick?
