Overlooked question regarding gmap3 use in Virture shortcode?

Hi,
I’ve left a few new comments on *Login to see link some weeks ago, but never received an answer there. Has it been maybe overlooked?
It is not a pressing matter but I need to implement a fix for the geocoding and I outlined how I could do it there. But maybe I have missed something regarding the gmap3 library.
I would happily send a patch if that would be considered (depending on its quality of course) by your developer maybe to add lat1, lat2, lat3, lat4 and long1, long2, long3, long4 as parameters.
