Menu not showing in Mobil View

When I press the hamburger icon to view the menu all I get is a black screen
I have to presume that I need to edit the background colour and font (perhaps it’s set on black on black) for the life of me I can not find where the options are to do that. I have the canvas options but that’s it
Please can I be pointed to where I can edit the background colour of the mobile menu and the colour of the font?
