Hi Ben,

I have two suggestions for the filtering of the shop page. I will implement these myself using a child theme, but I think these would be great features to all Virtue users so I’m sharing it here:

1st Linking to pre-filtered shop page

On the shop page we have filters for espresso, filter coffee, gifts, equipment. I would now like to create a menu point Shop with these sub-items like:

Shop
|- Espresso
|- Filter Coffee
|- Gifts
|- Equipment

The problem is that I cannot link to a pre-filtered shop page currently. But this would be easy to fix and the code for this is already available at

2nd Highlighting the selected filter

At the moment the currently selected filter only has a greyish border. Looking over the shoulder of some people I noticed that user do easily oversee this. Because of this and also for consistency, I think it would make sense if the selected filter changes background color to the shop’s primary color and foreground color to white. Like it is done in the select boxes for variation swatches, e.g. see when you hover/select over SIZE there:

Or like it’s done on the “Your topics” on this forum here, see screenshot:

What you think? As said I’ll just do this on my own child theme for now, but of course would welcome if this would be done in Virtue instead 🙂
