Hi there,

I have an old Ascend site with a slider issue that’s been happening for a while and I’ve lived with it but it’s time to bring to your attention (and should’ve done this when I first noticed it, so my bad there).

The current slider has 8 slides (and will be adding a 9th today) – way too many for my taste, but what my client wants. The issue: whenever I edit an existing slide and/or duplicate/add a new one, the text settings for the existing slides change. There’s always a main title at a certain font weight, size and animation set (with delay, speed and animation in settings), and a sub-title using those same settings but with different options. Whenever I touch anything in the slider, the text weights for the title and sub-title switch (title goes from 800 to 300 and the opposite for the sub-title), and the animation settings change for all of the existing slides. So I can expect, when I need to add or edit a slide, that I’m going to have to then go into each of the existing slides and fix each of those settings for every slide. As you can imagine, I dread when the client has an edit request for the slider content.

Any way you can figure out what’s going on? Thanks!
Sara
