Image Swap instead of image Flip for products in IE

In IE 10 and IE 11 in the shop and also for featured products the image is not flipped in an animated way but simply exchanged in IE 10 and 11. I really like the flip feature. Can something be done about this? Without flipping animatedly it is more difficult for user to comprehend.
