fatal error attempting to install kadence-custom-fonts

Kadence/Kadence Pro, Kadence Blocks and Kadence blocks pro, are all installed and license-activated on the site

attempting to install kadence-custom-fonts plugin results in an error

to get a more comprehensive error message I attempted installation via wp-cli

~/public_html>$ wp plugin install kadence-custom-fonts.1.1.5.zip
