Editor & Author roles unable to get to wp-admin

I just activated the Kadence theme on my site. But now when users with “editor” or “author” roles can no longer get to the backend to add content. When they try to access it, all they get is a blank screen that looks like the attached.
If I change their access to “Admin” they can get in fine, but that is obviously not wanted for the role to be able to get to so much on the back end. Has anyone ever experienced this? The strange thing is that I have a staging site where this is not a problem. So I must have messed something up.
