customisable product

This might be one better aimed at woo commerce but can anyone advise if the following is easily doable within the virtue theme and default woo commerce.
I want to list a product that can be customised. So the initial product is basically an empty gift box with a given value, and then from drop down menu or radio buttons, the customer can fill the box from a range of products and then of course add the lot to cart.
Any help would be much appreciated even if it requires a third party plugin that someone could recommend,
