No "Read More" link for custom excerpt

Hi,
what I did:
1. Add a custom excerpt as described in *Login to see link (I did this because of *Login to see link
2. Then there is no “Read More” link on the /blog/

This is a minor UX inconsistency in my opinion. It is still an excerpt being shown and not the full article, hence a “Read More” should still be there.
Could this be fixed in an upcoming version?
