Is this a bug or normal? Variation product images

Hi Ben & Hannah

May I call upon you for your opinion…?

I have a product with several variations. Each variation has its own image. I’m also displaying the variation images as a gallery under the main image.

The issue:

1) When you hover over the variation image, it displays the title of the main product – I need it to display the variation product name so a customer would know what it is!
2) When you click on the variation image, the name of the selected item in the dropdown remains the same – I need it to change the dropdown selection to that variation product so that the customer can easily identify it.

A) Is this normal – or do I have some kind of bug?
B) Do you know any JS or other solution that could help?
