"Add to car" for variation products on shopping archive page

I think it is really a great feature to be able to have an “Add to cart” button directly on shop overview pages. Unfortunately, this is currently not working if the product is a variation.

In my case almost all of my products come with variation (in my case its coffee packs which come with a weight of 250g or 500g). This makes it impossilbe to add products directly from any shop overview page (shop page, shope categories, cross sells on checkout …)

I really like how it is done on *Login to see link or *Login to see link Just have a small Select menu. In my case just a small select menu above the “Add to card” would do:

Size: [250g]
[500g]

[Add to cart]

I think this would be really a cool option that would add value to the Virtue premium theme itself. Could you please consider adding something like this in a future version?
