Troubleshooting Query Loop Filters

Hello,
I have a Query Loop that displays a Woocommerce Product Category.
The products have fields added with ACF.
I am trying to filter those product using the new custom fields using the Custom Post Meta option in the Filter and it does not produce any results.
If I try to filter those products using a category it works fine.
Should I try to create custom taxonomies for the products and use those for filtering?
