Resizing off-canvas header

I’m trying to create an off-canvas header for my website on my localhost. It is easy enough to get one up and running, but I’m wondering if there is any way to resize it? Now it’s filling up something like 90% of the screen and I want to change that but I can’t seem to find out if it’s possible and where?
All the help is appreciated!
I’ve also added a screenshot of the current state of the window.
