error message causing conflict with plugin

Hiya,
I have a recent problem with a plugin that was working fine before update.
So I contacted the developer of the events plugin to see what the issue is and this is the reply.

Hi Rebecca,
There is an error message that appears in the browser console: “no such method ‘reload’ for masonry instance” – plugins.js?ver=3.9.7:478
The error message is coming from the theme, so you should get in touch with the theme developers. I believe WordPress have updated their version of Masonry, and that the theme is relying on an older version.
