Slow loading site

I love the Virtue theme and have used it on a handful of sites so far. The other sites seem to load just fine and they’re using the same host. This site is brand new, has little content and only the usual plugins. If I switch to a different theme, the site loads normally. Can you tell me why is it loading so slowly?
